A 6mm diameter steel rod available with a zinc plated finish. These rods are available with a round mounting point shape at the top if required and with a conical or 45° cut at the bottom. When used in conjunction with a rod control system and swing handle, these rods create a secure multi-point locking system for use on metal cabinets and enclosure doors. Key features of swing handle accessories
Our range of rods and rod controls can be used with or without the cams to create a complete locking system if required.
The rods are installed above and below the locking mechanism so when the lock is operated, the rods move up and down into the top and bottom of the door or cabinet frame. This provides greater strength and security for the cabinets and doors.
